Text messages sent to your Plivo phone numbers will be automatically processed by your database. If a contact is found in your database with a phone number matching that of the sender, a communication record is automatically created for that contact and an email message will be sent to the email address associated with the receiving Plivo phone number with the contents of the text message. Here is a sample email generated by the database regarding a text received from a contact named Jason Adams:
If no contact is found in your database with a phone number matching that of the sender, no communication record will be created, but an email is still sent notifying you of the text message received.
